Faculty & Staff

North High School is second to none with a diverse faculty and staff of 118

professionals. We have several award winning teachers including Jaime Malotte

who was named the Outstanding Educator in 2004 by the University of Evansville

and the Evansville Courier. In addition, Jon Siau was honored with the Project e

"Excellence in Education Award" in 2004.

New Principal, Assistant Principal Named at North High School

John Skinner, assistant principal at North High School for the past 6 years, has been named principal of the school. Skinner replaces Brenda Weber, who was recently appointed to the position of Director of High Schools for the EVSC. Aaron Huff has been appointed to the position of assistant principal, Dean at North High School.

Skinner came to the EVSC as a teacher of physical education, health and marketing  at Harrison High School in 1993. He was promoted to assistant principal at Glenwood Middle School in 2000 and in 2002 began his tenure as assistant principal at North High School. Skinner also served as the assistant varsity and reserve boy’s basketball coach at Harrison High School for seven years and as assistant activities director. 

Skinner holds an associate of science degree from Aquinas College, a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master of Arts in Education degree from Eastern Kentucky University, and an Education Specialist Degree in school administration from Indiana State.  Skinner also is licensed for secondary school administration.

He is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Indiana Association of School Principals, Association of School Administrators and the Evansville Area Reading Council. He has served for three years as a North Youth Basketball Association volunteer coach and a volunteer for the Evansville Junior Golf Association.
